Accessory Upgrade:

Specific level 140 rings and necklaces can be upgraded to improve their stats. This process goes in stages:

• First accessories can be upgraded at Guardian Tyr in Jadeon to add stars.
• Once your accessory is at three stars, it can be crafted into an Essence Ring or Eminence Necklace.
• Finally, these items can be upgraded into one of the six Ascension Accessories sets.

Dijo, Goko, Xato, Zuro, Windo, and Raino sets can be acquired through Accessory Upgrade. Additionally, there is a set of necklaces that can be upgraded using the Snow Star, which is a reward from the Taichi Pills event.

Upgradeable Rings:

• Eminence of Heaven
• Grace of Heaven
• Insight of Heaven
• Might of Heaven
• Ring of Eloquence
• Ring of Ultimate Truth

Upgradeable Necklaces:

• Might of Earth
• Blessed Earth

Snow Star Necklaces:

• Necklace of Ascension
• Necklace of Reckoning
• Skyseal Necklace
• Dragonwing Necklace
• Overwhelming Dominance

How to Upgrade: Stars One to Three

Have the ring or necklace in your inventory, then speak to Guardian Tyr in Jadeon. He will have a quest to add 1 star to that item. If you do not see a quest for that ring, then it cannot be upgraded.

Once the accessory is upgraded, it will be bound to you, and its required level will be lowered by 5 levels for each star.

The success rate of upgrading these items is very low, but if you manage to succeed, then you will be rewarded with a much better item. Here are the costs for attempting to upgrade:

• Upgrading Ring to ★ = 10g (5% success chance)
• Upgrading Ring to ★★ = 20g (2.5% success chance)
• Upgrading Ring to ★★★ = 50g (1% success chance)
• Upgrading Necklace to ★ = 100g (5% success chance)
• Upgrading Necklace to ★★ = 200g (3% success chance)
• Upgrading Necklace to ★★★ = 500g (2% success chance)

The basic rings for upgrading (without stars) can be acquired in few ways:

• Elysium Proclamation Level 120+ (Kunlun CVs)
• Might of Heaven and Eminence of Heaven are sometimes additional rewards for 2 of Shura red Dispatcher quests.
• Some of the Bosses drop particular rings, including bosses that may be summoned after completing Fumes event.

The basic necklaces for upgrading can be acquired by:

• Various Lotto from the marketplace
• JD-Mart Auction
• One Welkin Green Jade to exchange for a necklace at Jade Exchange Girl NPC in Sunstream.

Again, the success rate is really low, so be prepared to spend hundreds or thousands of gold before succeeding.

How to Upgrade: Stars to Essence Rings/Eminence Necklaces

Instead of relying on a quest and chance upgrade, moving these accessories past the star stage requires Crafting.

The crafting recipes you need can be obtained from Star Souls (very low chance) or won on the JD-Mart auction in Affinity Bead Recipe Pack (it contains Recipes for all 6 Ring Essences and the 2 Necklaces) or from Affinity Secret (One random recipe).

The result is guaranteed.

How to Upgrade: Essence/Eminence to Ascension

After reaching Essence or Eminence grade on an Accessory, each of these items can be upgraded once more, into an Ascension Accessory. Further upgrading is very costly (800G per try) and has a very low chance of succeeding (1%).

To upgrade these items, take them to Wanyoo in the Ancient Land (Bitter Sea 45, -140). This quest works the same as the star upgrade quest and works for both Human and Athan characters.

The mediums for upgrade are harvested from Star Souls; they're called "Deity Wills." Each is used for a specific accessory. Could be as well obtained at Jade Exchange Maiden in Sunstream for Sunny Jades.

Essence Rings:

• Eminence of Heaven·Essence uses Windo Will to create one of Windo Set Rings
• Grace of Heaven·Essence uses Zuro Will to create one of Zuro Set Rings
• Insight of Heaven·Essence uses Xato Will to create one of Xato Set Rings
• Might of Heaven·Essence uses Raino Will to create one of Raino Set Rings
• Ring of Eloquence·Essence uses Goko Will to create one of Goko Set Rings
• Ring of Ultimate Truth·Essence uses Dijo Will to create one of Dijo Set Rings

Eminence Necklaces:

• Eminence of Earth·Blessing uses 2x Windo Will to create Windo Set Necklace
• Eminence of Earth·Blessing uses 2x Raino Will to create Raino Set Necklace
• Eminence of Earth·Blessing uses 2x Goko Will to create Goko Set Necklace
• Eminence of Earth·Might uses 2x Zuro Will to create Zuro Set Necklace
• Eminence of Earth·Might uses 2x Xato Will to create Xato Set Necklace
• Eminence of Earth·Might uses 2x Dijo Will to create Dijo Set Necklace

How to Upgrade: Ascension to Ancient Blood

These items can be crafted. The necklaces require 40 Ancient Blood Seals, the rings require 20 Ancient Blood Charms or 20 Ancient Blood Jade. You can also speak to Linqui in Archaia to upgrade to these items.

Special Necklaces: Upgrading with Snow Star

There are seven necklaces that can be upgraded using the Snow Star necklace. By combining the Snow Star with one of those, a +500 Health bonus is added to the necklace, giving it the name of "Anan's".

In order to upgrade one of the Necklaces, you need to bring it along with the Snow Star to Grand Master Tahn in Jadeon (180, 91).

To obtain these necklaces:

• Necklace of Ascension: dropped by Shura Bosses and the Bosses you can choose to summon after finishing the Fumes Event. The Elder of Arcaneness also has these in exchange for Arcane Bullion and Coins.
• Necklace of Reconing: The Elder of Arcaneness has these in exchange for Arcane Bullion and Coins.
• Overwhelming Dominance: The Elder of Arcaneness has these in exchange for Arcane Bullion and Coins.
• Dragonwing Necklace: dropped by the Ceaseless Rot boss in Southern Border, the Bird of Dystopia in Shura's Palace of Purgatory, and the Bosses you can choose to summon after finishing the Fumes Event.
• Dragon Speed: dropped by the Boss you can choose to summon after finishing the Fumes Event (True Beast Lord).
• Redeemer's Necklace: Reward for defending Fort Cloudstorm.
• Skyseal Necklace: from the JD-Mart. It used to be the 1st Prize from the Sky Dweller lotto (no longer available).
